Responding to the Chief Minister’s comment that Kadapa win is just a “flash in the pan”, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday hit back at him by challenging him to dissolve the House.
“Let both the parties prepare to face the public again, I will show my strength,” he added. Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the people were fed up with both the Congress and the Telugu Desam as they had failed to address public issues. “People have no confidence in the Congress as well as the Telugu Desam. I will prove it if the opportunity comes,” he said adding that the Congress government in the state had been repeatedly playing a double game of praising the late YSR on one hand and trying to tarnish his image on the other.
Several schemes launched by YSR had been sidelined and no scheme was being implemented. The Congress government had intentionally stopped implementing the schemes leaving people helpless, he added. About the defeat of his uncle, Mr Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, the Kadapa MP said: “I felt more pained at his losing, because we share the same blood. It is really bad, but my uncle should now realise his mistake.”
