The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has begun the crackdown on YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s companies and that of his business associates, knows fully well that it is not so easy to get the evidences to fix him in the case.
Reason: Jagan has taken enough care to see that every investment into his companies is “pucca” and as per the business norms, at least on the record.
For that, the CBI needs at least one investor to come forward and turn approver to the government, saying he had put in money in Jagan’s companies expecting other benefits from the government.
So, the CBI authorities are seriously looking for such an approver.
Sources said they could identify one person and are now bringing pressure on him to admit the illegal investments. If he succumbs to the pressure, then the CBI can crack the Jagan case easily, sources added.
