YSR Congress party president and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has displayed his anti-Congress stand on the day one of taking oath as MP in Parliament.
Jagan voted against the UPA government during the division of the house after the debate on price rise.
Though he did not speak on the subject, he took part in the voting and voted against the ruling coalition.
The voting took place following a demand from the Left parties, though the BJP was not interested in it. Subsequently, division of the house was announced.
During the introduction of Lok Pal Bill, too, Jagan walked out of the House along with the Left parties, which completely opposed the bill in its present form. This has led to the speculation that the Left parties are backing Jagan. However, he clarified that he was not supporting any party, but had voted as per his conscience.
In any case, Jagan has made his presence felt in the House on the first day.
