YSR Congress party leader, Mr Ambati Rambabu, on Thursday mounted a scornful attack on the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi, and termed the Kadapa by-elections as a battle between Italian and Telugu cultures. Mr.Rambabu also said that the by-election was also a battle between the arrogance of Delhi and the courage of Kadapa.
Speaking to the mediapersons, Mr Rambabu said, Mrs. Sonia does not know anything about Indian culture and traditions. Mr. Rambabu criticized the Congress Government saying that it was watering down the programmes of late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
