The CBI raids continued on the second day on Friday, targeting the YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s business establishments and the companies which had invested in his firms.
Nearly 15 teams of CBI sleuths left Dilkusha Guest House, the operational headquarters of the federal investigating agency probing the alleged illegal assets of Kadapa MP and Emaar Properties deal, and headed towards the offices of the companies identified for the search operation.
The searches are on at the offices of Nimmagadda Foundation, VANPIC, Brahmani Infotech, Navabharath Constructions, Arabindo Pharma, Penna Cements, R R Global and Hetero Drugs located at Jedcherla.
The CBI teams also raided the office of Bayyaram Mines at Khammam owned by Anil Kumar, the son-in-law of former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, and also at Haritha Fertilisers located in Nalgonda.
It is said that the CBI is racing against time to complete the search and seizure operations and examination of the documents within three months so that they can file a charge sheet in the case.
