Congress leadership is in two minds on disqualification of 16 Jagan camp MLAs who defied the party whip on the No-Confidence Motion moved by TDP.
Athough CM Kiran and PCC Chief Botsa has decided to axe all the rebel MLAs, the Congress leadership has different plans. As per sources, Congress High Command is chalking out plans to take action on rebel MLAs by dividing them into groups. As a first step, the MLAs who are very close to Jagan will be axed immediately. And the remaining MLAs will be given some time to leave Jagan and come back into the parent Congress party.
According to the reports, Speaker Nadendla Manohar is in talks with the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Vice President of India Hamid Ansari over legal issues if all the MLAs are disqualified at once.
