Sabbam Hari, Congress MP from Anakapalle, who is all set to join the YSR Congress Party floated by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy after the Kadapa by-elections, has warned the Congress high command of direct consequences, if disciplinary action is taken against the MLAs supporting Jagan.
Sabbam told the media on Tuesday that disqualification of any MLA from Jagan camp would have serious repercussions. “If there is any action, there would definitely be a reaction from the other side. The disqualification would lead to large scale revolt of the MLAs against the party and there is going to be a political disaster in the state,” he said.
The MP asked deputy speaker Nadendla Manohar to use his wisdom before taking any decision on disqualification of pro-Jagan MLAs. “If the Congress shows restraint on taking action against these MLAs, they too will show restraint. Otherwise, they would retaliate,” he warned.
