**This process is only relevant for accounts created internally - alumni, courtesy, affiliate, etc. The netID and password for current Emory faculty, staff, and students is managed by the university.**
1) Bring up the account, click on the ID link.
2) Click on the General Information tab.
3) Create a temporary password for the patron under User Management Information.
4) Create a pin for the patron under User Information and Pin Number - use the patron ID #, and you can manually type this in. Then hit Save. Inform patron the pin is the same as their ID#, which they have to enter when changing their password.
5) Forward the instructions below on changing your password in discoverE:
1-Login to your discoverE account with the temporary password
2-On the left, click on Personal Settings, Edit Details, and then Update Login Credentials
3-Enter pin, old password, and new password.
