Hello All,
The LSC Technology Group has tested and confirmed that requesting between Emory and Georgia Tech is working again!!! Yay!!!
HOWEVER, when you check out a GT item to an Emory patron and click “Done” to send a loan notice, Alma will throw an error and refuse to send the notice. This is a known issue Ex Libris is working on and has assured us will be fixed in the October 4 Alma update. In the meantime, if a patron needs a loan notice for a Georgia Tech item, you will need to go into their account and send them an activity report.
Accordingly, Georgia Tech has restored requesting of their materials by our patrons and I have restored requesting of our LSC materials by GT patrons. I have not, however, restored requesting of main campus items, as that is a larger discussion for the Access Services Policy Committee to address.
