NEW: Visitor computer use agreement

Below is the text that appears every time we log in a visitor. Please bring this to their attention when logging in.

Robert W. Woodruff Library provides visitor workstations as a courtesy for members of our community. Users of visitor workstations are expected to comply with Federal and state laws, local ordinances, and Emory University policies that guide behavior for the use of Emory computers and network and on the campus. Visitors using visitor workstations are required to follow the specific terms below. Any violation of these terms may result in revocation of privileges.

  • 30 minute time limit when other users are waiting;

  • Headphones must be used when listening to audio or viewing video;

  • Users may not sleep at computers;

  • Users must comply with U.S. Copyright Law and any license restrictions;

  • Users may not use Emory University licensed resources for commercial use; and

  • Users may not systematically download, print, save, or distribute (in any format) substantial portions of any of these licensed resources.

Your use of Emory’s visitor workstation signifies that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
