Desk Tracker

USE IT.

Please record EVERY SINGLE PATRON INTERACTION, even if someone just asks to borrow a pencil (that's Directional/Other!). We want the bigwigs to know how much the patrons need us. If we don't remember to use Desk Tracker, it looks like the patrons don't need us at all, which is not a good thing for my student budget and your employment future.

Be especially careful to record all the Learning Commons/Tech help you provide. Every little interaction matters!

Level 1 Help Desk Form

You must enter your name and the amount of time the task took you. For the other 2 categories, check all boxes that apply. Routine Tasks/Maintenance is for those things you do that don't necessarily involve speaking to a patron (though they may be reported by a patron). Patron Interaction is for those times when you actively assist a patron with something.
