Pull Service for Faculty to begin Tue, June 11th

Faculty will be able to place hold requests on items in the stacks and have them held for pickup at any library. Our stacks team will pull/receive the requested items and deliver them to us to hold.

Key points:

• • Faculty only. All other patrons must retrieve items in the stacks themselves. No exceptions.

  • Pickup location may be any library. Like Storage items, stacks pulls don't have to be picked up from their home locations (but this is unlike recallls, which are held at their home libraries only).

  • If another patron tries to check out a requested item before we pull it, do NOT proceed with the checkout. Instead, apologize and help the patron find an acceptable alternative (locate another copy in our system, place an Interlibrary Loan request, place a hold on our copy, use WorldCat.org to locate a copy in an ARCHE library, etc.)
