Emory Requesting from Georgia Tech

Karen Glover (from GT) and I have confirmed the patron role expiration as the root of the requesting problems. We were able to delete the patron roles and add them back without expiration dates so the individuals who were having the problem should be able to request again at this point. New users are still given a 1 year expiration and this is not fully resolved, but I am working with ExLibris to determine a long-term solution.

NOTE: We will be leaving expiration dates for the patron record itself intact, but not for the patron role in the user management interface.

Please share this with anyone who needs to know and do let coreservices@emory.edu know if you see any other problems with requesting. I will leave the Salesforce ticket open until the problem is fully resolved.
