Dark Storage

The basics:

• Items listed with the collection Dark Storage are not accessible and cannot be requested. Woodruff's Dark Storage items are currently located at the High Museum for safekeeping and do NOT circulate.

  • Items in Dark Storage almost universally have an electronic version or a second copy that is accessible elsewhere in our collection. If a patron needs a Dark Storage item, check Aleph or discoverE for an alternate version/copy.

  • The exception: Oxford's Dark Storage items are only temporarily inaccessible--they are items that were stored off-site during their recent renovations and should be moved back into the circulating collection in the future.
