Student Assistants: "Zoning" Details...
Post date: Aug 31, 2017 2:3:30 PM
Hello LSD Staff,
There are a few "Zoning" details that I would like to bring to the attention of everyone that will help us to ensure that our Learning Commons area remains clean, professional, and presentable. In addition to cleaning tables, white boards, marker residue, and the many other things that we encounter, I would like to draw your attention to our computer screens.
Please make sure that, during your zoning, we are cleaning our computer screens of dust and fingerprints. Below are two (2) examples of computers that have been "cleaned," yet the screen themselves have been overlooked during our zoning. Computer screens should be cleaned each day, and in each zoning area.
In order to clean our computer screens, please use the microfiber cleaning cloths that are in our cleaning supplies drawer. (PLEASE NOTE: Do not use Microfiber Cleaning Cloth for regular cleaning, or with windex. Regular wipers, or paper towels, should be used for that. If you do encounter a microfiber cleaning cloth with windex on it, please do not use that cloth on computer screens. It will leave a really awful and streaky residue on the Apple Mac computers that is not pleasant.)
Again, this is very important to ensuring that we maintain a professional and presentable environment for our patrons. Please inspect screens, and clean as often as is necessary.
Thank You,
Lyndon Batiste
