REMINDER: Cartridge and drum replacements

When responding to a ticket in LibAnswers that requires replacement of toner or drums, be sure to copy EaglePrint.

If you replace a toner or drum but are not responding to an alert in LibAnswers, report the replacement under Learning Commons -> Report LC technical issues -> Report problem with PRINTERS. This will send a message to EaglePrint so that more toner or drums can be ordered.

Some other tips and guidelines:

  1. Cc eagleprint@emory.edu only for LibAnswers tickets that need a response; toner/drum replaced, paper jam that cannot be removed.

  2. Only respond to the issue mentioned in the subject of the email/ticket in LibAnswers. Part of the body of the email/ticket will show what the printer is displaying on the screen, but this may be unrelated to the email/ticket.

  3. If an alert is not sent to LibAnswers, but a cartridge/drum is replaced, submit the issue to Report LC technical issue -> Report a problem with PRINTERS. Otherwise, we will not know that we need to send a spare.
