NEW: Schedules & important updates

EXAM PERIOD

The end of the semester is fast approaching. The fall semester schedule is in effect until Wednesday, December 16^th. Please give up your shifts well in advance that conflict with an exam. Also, if you’re leaving town before December 16^th, please also give up these shifts well in advance.

Aleph going away, Alma coming

As a few of you already know, ALEPH is going away on December 13^th. It is being replaced by a web based service called Alma on December 16^th. We will have an offline circulation capability between 12/13-12/16 that stores transactions and uploads them on 12/16 when we go live with Alma. LSD staff will be on the front lines assisting you on these days.

In addition, we will be having MANDATORY Alma training Monday, January 11^th when you return to campus for the spring. You will receive specifics later in December. If you already have travel plans that prevent you from being here that Monday or another conflict, please let me know.

WINTER BREAK: Dec. 17-Jan. 11

In addition, we are still open during winter break. If you will be here and would like to work, please also send me your winter break availability by Monday, December 7^th. We are always in need of students over break, so if you will be around for all of break or just part of it, please consider working. Additionally, if you can work over winter break, you will receive Alma training and will not have to attend training on Monday, January 11^th.

Sunday: CLOSED

Mon-Fri: 8a-6p

Saturday: 11a-6p

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Saturday, December 26th

New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

Saturday, January 2nd

SPRING SEMESTER

Sunday: 11a-10p

Mon-Thu: 8a-11p

Friday: 8a-8p

Saturday: 10a-8p
