NEW: Reporting LC Issues

One of the benefits of having LC technical support on L1 is that now we have access to immediate help in resolving LC work station and printer problems. Consequently, we have a new protocol for notifying the LC staff when a problem arises.

To report a LC technical support issue, please contact the LC technical support staff on L1 directly:

-over Pidgin at the supervisor's desk or

-have the supervisor phone L1 at 2-8977

AND

-If necessary, put an out of order sign on the equipment

Issues to report would be a computer having frozen up or in some other way malfunctioning, a printer having run out of toner, or a BizHub braking down. Feel free to clear a paper jam or add paper, if needed **paper is located in cabinets, key is where L1 key used to be** but alert the LC staff for anything more serious.

If the LC staff can't fix the problem themselves, they will submit a ticket for further assistance.
