1. Where are you from? I am from San Francisco, California/ Olosega, Manu'atele
2. Where did you go to college? I attended Kanana Fou Theological Seminary (KFTS) in American Samoa
3. What program are you in at Emory? I am currently in the Masters of Theology (ThM) Program at Candler School of Theology
4. Do you have post-Emory plans? I plan on a ThD with a focus on Pastoral Care and Counseling
5. What do you do for fun? Self-Care, hang out with friends, and family
6. What is your favorite Movie? My favorite movie is Tears of the Sun
7. What is your favorite Song and by whom? Too many songs to choose from but my favorite genres are Gospel & Reggae
8. What are you looking forward to in this job? Working in a team-oriented setting while building and expanding my customer service skills and experience
9. A favorite quote? My favorite quote is by an Oceania anthropologist and writer, Epeli Hauofa: "Just as the sea is an open and ever flowing reality, so should our Oceanic identity transcend all forms of insularity, to become one that is openly searching, inventive and welcoming." This is a constant reminder and encouragement for me of my communal upbringing and identity that is inclusive of all creation.
