Note: BizHub 2-2 (Maroon) is the only machine that does faxing.
To fax...
Place the corner of your originals at the back left corner of the glass (as indicated by the green arrow) or load loose sheets in the scanner's top feeder.
On the BizHub's touchscreen, press Fax.
Touch the Fax Recipients box to activate the keyboard.
For local numbers, enter 9 + area code + phone number.
For campus numbers, enter only the 5-digit extension (the last 5 digits of the phone number) -- do not enter 9 first.
For long distance numbers, enter 9 + 1 + area code + phone number
To proceed with the default settings, press Send Fax. To customize the fax settings, press More Options*, make your selections, and then press Send Fax.
A window will pop up asking if you want to continue with your current settings -- press Yes to scan more documents with your current settings; press No to finish your session and begin transmission of the fax.
The data light will blink while the fax is being transmitted, and the message, "Processing Digital Send Job," will appear at the top of the touchscreen.
Once the transmission is complete, the message, "Fax Sent Successfully," will appear at the top of the touchscreen and a confirmation sheet will print.
Press the Reset button on the BizHub to clear out your settings and return to the main menu.
* For multi-page faxing, press More Options, then Job Build, and turn Job Build on. Press Send Fax or the Start button to scan the first page. From then on, set the next page, and press Scan. When all pages have been scanned, press Finish.
FYI: the machine's fax number is (404) 727-0975. We don't usually give it out (we don't offer the service to receive faxes for patrons), although the fax machine could be used to receive a fax if necessary.
