Amendments to the "Missing Item" workflow

Due to limited staffing, Stacks is recommending that we suspend normal “Missing” searches for now. As a result, please refrain from placing books into “missing status” until further notice. Instead, users can place ILL requests for items (or portions of items) that are unavailable.

The ILL team will:

    1. Make sure there’s not another copy available (physically or electronically)

    2. If not, pursue purchase of an e-version, as agreed w/collection management

    3. Or contact the user to see if there is a portion of the item that will meet their need.
