Remember to add analytics when you answer a LibAnswer question

Supervisors, Staff, and Subject Librarians,

Several LSD staff just spent hours cleaning up the blank analytics in LibAnswers. When answering questions in LibAnswers please fill out the analytics. The only time you would not fill out the analytics is when you are closing an item without adding a response. Then you need to be sure to change the Add to Analytics from “Reference Analytics” to “Do Not Add Analytics”.

April alone 40% of the transactions in LibAnswers did not get analytics marked. If you have any questions about how to add analytics to LibAnswers, please see Erich Wendt or myself. We would be happy to go over this with you to save us time and guesswork in the future.

[note: This does not apply to the printer alerts which do not require analytics in LibAnswers - MJ]
