Starting this summer, the level one desk is closed and we will be handling all learning commons technical assistance. Alex Kyrychenko, the Learning Commons coordinator, will be responsible for your training and I will help him coordinate. All students and supervisors during the summer will be trained in the following services:
Zone Maintenance
Staging and cleaning of spaces
Printers
Refilling paper
Replacing toner and drums
Monitoring paper levels and alerts for printing
Other technical support
Installing printing package on laptop
Curved TV on L2
Group studies
Presentation practice 213
Connecting laptop to AV
This is not an exhaustive list, but it covers the bulk of what we will be doing. For those of you who have been with us longer, you will know notice we have done much of these tasks before, so this is very manageable for us.
