Check In (Discharge) an Item

1. Move to the Return Tab, .

2. Scan the item's barcode,

3. Direct the item to the appropriate location:

    • If the item has a hold on it, a window will pop up and a hold receipt will print. Date and initial the top of the hold receipt, place it in the book (towards the middle so it doesn't fall out), and shelve the book in call number order on our holds shelves.

    • All other items (including in-transits) should be put on the returns cart.
