Post date: Jan 03, 2017 7:24:25 PM

Deep cleaning continues on Level 1. Again, the idea of deep cleaning is to do it well. Here is what needs to be done:

1. Tables without computer workstations:

  • Wipe each table clean with Windex and paper towels

  • Make sure there is no dust/dirt left anywhere; use the Swiffer duster to remove any dust from underneath the dividing screens

  • Open the table troughs (where the power outlets are) and remove any trash

2. Tables with computer workstations:

  • Turn over each keyboard and shake out the dirt

  • Wipe each table clean with Windex and paper towels (moving the computer, keyboard, mouse, mousepad out of the way to clean the entire table)

    • Use the Swiffer duster to remove any dust from underneath the dividing screens and the power outlets on the tables

    • There should be no wooden chairs at computer workstations—replace them with rolling chairs

3. Computers, keyboards, mice:

    • Clean the hardware thoroughly using Windex sprayed on paper towels for cleaning, except for the monitors

  • Clean the monitors with the gray 3M cloth to wipe the fingerprints and use a little bit of Windex sprayed on a paper towel for challenging spots

  • Clean the computer stands and the backs of the computers; use the Swiffer duster to remove any dust from the backs of the iMacs, computer stands, PC computer cases, etc.

4. Printer and MFP:

  • Dust the printer and the MFP

  • Clean the print release station computer

  • Wipe the cabinet tops, including behind equipment

  • Clean the Omega touch screen

5. Whiteboards:

  • Clean them with water and paper towels (not erasers)

  • Clean the metal trays

  • Use Mr. Clean Magic Pads and water to clean marker marks off the walls around whiteboards

6. Group study rooms (6):

  • 6 rolling chairs around each table

  • Clean the glass boards with water and paper towels (not erasers)

  • Clean the metal trays

  • Use Mr. Clean Magic Pads and water to clean marker marks off the walls around the glass boards

  • The two cables in each room should be neatly wound and placed on hooks under the TV monitors

Please be thorough! Take as much time as you need, but please make sure to really do the deep cleaning and get everything that needs to be cleaned. Go slowly and do it right.

Thanks!
