IMPORTANT: Georgia Tech/Emory Network Fulfillment "Check-Out" Issue Corrected

Hello LSD Team,

Please note that the issues we were facing with checking out Georgia Tech items in Alma has been corrected. We no longer have to place a direct call to Georgia Tech in order to check out the item. Please refer to the diagram below when checking out Georgia Tech items in Alma.

Step #1. Once you are in Alma, in the patron's account and after you have retrieved their item from the Georgia Tech item shelf, you will look for the "Item from another institution" box on the Loans/check out page. Check that box and you will get the drop down bar titled "institution.'

Step #2. Click on the "institution" bar, and you will be given an option to select "Georgia Tech" for this item. Please note that "Georgia Tech" must be selected for Alma to recognize the Georgia Tech item.

Step #3. Scan item in "Scan item barcode" menu, and the item will show up on patron's account, and you can proceed to completing items checkout process.
