Carrel Charge slips

Any books kept in a student's assigned carrel must be checked out and have a pink Carrel Charge slip inserted face up in the book. These slips are kept in the gold cabinet under the supervisor's desk. Without the Carrel Charge slip, the stacks team is likely to collect the book as they make their daily rounds gathering up books throughout the library. The pink slip will indicate that the book is checked out and still in use.

Remember, the Carrel Charge slips are used only for carrels, not studies. Studies are the small private study rooms that have a door that can be locked by the patron.
