COVID Opening Desk Procedures
Unlock the single sliding glass door separating the desk area from the staff area.
Deliver curbside & inside appointment materials to their location.
Verify that all materials for each patron are on the cart. Check the general holds shelf, ILL shelf, and missed appointment shelf to verify materials.
Identify missed appointment materials and mark the date of the missed appointment (the day prior) on the attached name slip.
Send "Missed Appointment" courtesy email to all missed appointments. (Template Attached Below)
Print out the Appointment Calendar for the Supervisors desk.
Remove expired holds from the general holds shelf via Alma.
Check printer paper levels and supply cabinet on Level 2. (supply check sheet is on the supervisor desktop and here)
Check the LSD voicemail. The message button will not illuminate with there is a message, so we need to check every morning. Directions are here.
