"Bad Suffix"

If a patron gets the error message "bad suffix" when swiping an EmoryCard, it means the patron is using an old EmoryCard, not their most recent one. Ask the patron whether they've ever gotten a replacement card (they should say yes) and tell them to make sure they're using the correct card (older cards will be deactivated). If the patron doesn't have the more recent EmoryCard on them, have the patron purchase a guest copy card to use. Please do not print the job for free.
