Research from Austrailia in the news. Recording the sixth sense? Data is being studied and recorded of brain activitiy and other body functions of couples / people while they attempt to spiritually connect. For example love. No real data to look at in the article, but it's facinating none the less. Personally I think this also relates to spirit communication. Humans are hardwired for oneness with each other. Hardwired for connections on a spiritual level. I feel this does not stop with flesh and blood, but extends to those in Spirit.What do you think about such things? Read the article here.

In today's "Victor Zammit's afterlife report" [http://www.victorzammit.com/]
He talked about how recently a group of mediums allowed themselves to be interviewed for a documentary. They were mislead by the producers and editors in such that the end result of the documentary led them to look like crazy fools. He discussed it as a warning to the various different Spiritualist communities of the world. TO mediums everywhere as a warning to be careful of who you associate with.
I found this deeply disturbing. I totally agree with him. And I'd even carry the warning further. Just as you have to be careful of who you "truck with" in the spirit world. You have to be careful of who you truck with in life.
It's all about intent. And that group was mislead as to the intent of the documentary. It's often very hard to discern intent. You have to dig deep. This documentary, instead of focusing on moving people closer to God through the validation of the afterlife. Rather if focused on the precieved quirks of the mediums and selective subjective readings; which of course played them all in the light as frauds.
Intent: It's full of subjective emotion. But then I am pretty old school. The higher spirits don't give a whip about validation or answering your "will I get this job" questions. They are ONLY interested in moving you closer to God. Fixing your life so that you advance in the hereafter. They want you to know, "There is no death.That life is eternal. And what you do here, the lessons you learn here, your perceptions alter the next part of the journey. You and me, and everyone else are Spirits on a hike through a cosmic video game. This is the Human level. Do you solve the puzzle and move to the next level? Or do you reload and try again?"
I think that such publicity needs to stop coming from outside the community. Be you a Spiritualist, Spiritist, medium or other believer. We need to support our own and reach out. Stay away from Hollywood "ghost hunters" And stick to the message. We are here to say, There is no death. This is how we see it.

Fascinating news article: Elisa Medhus, M.D.: "A skeptic's journey through grief".
She says in the article linked from the Huffington Post web site; "As a physician with a strong science background, I used to regard all things spiritual with a jaded eye--until the recent suicide of my young son, Erik. .....I thought my son had been ripped from my arms forever. But soon, Erik began to challenge that belief by making his presence known to friends and family through smells, touch, apparitions, conversation and mischievous pranks."

Through this month's surfing of the internet; I've been more and more aware of a lot of young people getting really sacred about their paranormal experiences. I find that in this topic as well as most; that there are a huge variety of opinions. How to kids sort through all that? How can they know where to go or whom to talk to. Over the next month, I am going to try to put together as many resources on one page as I can find. I'll try to be as non-judgemental as possible. It will be an on-going work in progress. Last week Victor Zammit mentioned in his "friday afterlife report" a book that he really liked and recommended. But, that it was out of print. So I went online to Amazon and found several independent sellers that still had it and bought a copy. From the table of contents I am pretty excited about reading it. I'll let you know what I think. Quantum Entanglement--A good explanation for many a spooky thing.

It sounds like a far out tale from Star Trek, but it may explain travel between dimensions, the multiverse, the afterlife with the earth plane, telepathy, etc. It could also explain how we might be able to exist on more than one "dimensional level" and interact with the paranormal. i.e. the soul within the mind within the body. Astral travel, the afterlife ect.
"According to the quantum theory, everything vibrates," theoretical physicist Michio Kaku tells NPR's Guy Raz. Kaku is a frequent guest on the Science and Discovery channels. "When two electrons are placed close together, they vibrate in unison. When you separate them, that's when all the fireworks start." This is where quantum entanglement — sometimes described as "teleportation" — begins. "An invisible umbilical cord emerges connecting these two electrons. And you can separate them by as much as a galaxy if you want. Then, if you vibrate one of them, somehow on the other end of the galaxy the other electron knows that its partner is being jiggled."
This process happens even faster than the speed of light, physicists say.
Quantum entanglement isn't a new idea — Einstein once famously referred to it as "spooky action at a distance" — but it wasn't until the past 30 years that scientists were first able to observe this process. It could one day lead to new types of computers, and some even think entanglement may explain things like telepathy. Scientists aren't quite ready to beam up Scotty yet, but this is the technology that one day may lead to such a feat.

-News blog article: Robert Lanza, M.D.-- "What are we? New Experitments Suggest We're Not Purely Physical". [link click here] Further proof to my mind that just because we can't see 'IT' or fully understand it; does not mean it doesn't exist. It's the reasoning, and contemplation, of the unknown and what we do with it that can and does give valuable meaning and purpose to our lives.

-I spent some quality time updating and organizing the Glossary and Links.
My Mussing of the month has been contemplating the vast myriad of differences of points of view in the communities of Science, Paranormal investigators, and Religions. Within each community there are vast diversity's of belief and dogmas. AND, how each of them relates not only to each other, but how they relate to people outside of their groups and the general public is mind blowing. Will the human race ever be able to move beyond black and white? What is truth to one group is superstition to another. What is superstition to one group is delusions at best, crazy at worst to another. Who gets to judge? Who gets the final say? In the end; life, the nature of the soul, and the universe will always be the great mystery. How we deal with it will define us.

-There is a new article in the news by By MALCOLM RITTER (AP). (Use Google News to find it) I quote: "In the latest use of DNA to investigate the story of humankind, scientists have decoded genetic material from an unidentified human ancestor that lived in Siberia and concluded it might be a new member of the human family tree." I find this fascinating. Why? Well I think most university educated people would agree that other humanoid species might have been sentient. That said, they might have had souls. The same might also be true for some types of animals. Like dolphins or chimps etc. OR maybe not. But for the sake of argument; lets say yes. OK; supposing other hominids had souls. Now keeping this thought in mind; The author of the article has this great quote: ""the human family tree has got a lot of branchings. It's entirely plausible there are a lot of branches out there we don't know about." and then further along in the article there is another great quote:
"We weren't alone," said Todd Disotell of New York University, who was familiar with the new work. "When we became modern, we didn't instantly replace everybody. There were other guys running around who survived quite well until very, very recently."
Ok, I know the authors didn't mean their quotes to be in a paranormal discussion, But; reading that article and those quotes; I thought to myself; "If" all those hominids possibly had souls, there might just be innumerable 'types' of spirits, entities, and ghosts!! Even Alien....

-On the topic of Transcommunication; Science says, "humans have a tendency to 'see' patterns, even where there are none". I personally do agree with this, BUT-I have seen a lot of so called 'Evidence' including material from my own experiences that gives me pause to doubt Scientific explanations. I think while the science is "good" and is so through to be compelling, I don't think proof has moved beyond hypothesis, and there for; For me, is not conclusive one way or the other.

-Ghosts are made up of dark energy or dark matter. Do one of these, can these exist both in space time that we experience and outside of it? If so how, what are the mechanics of such an interaction. How does an entity actually control it's electro magnetic particles, to interact with mass, AND defeat newtons laws?
-the "ghost" (if s/he is indeed a ghost) has done nothing to truly harm you or even significantly disrupt your life. For now, it would seem that the best course of action is, whenever you think the "ghost" is around, just say "Hello, ghost" and then go about your business. Why be afraid of something that has not shown any ability to harm you?
-what about the human nervous system, brain, and sensory organs allows interaction. What exactly happen biologicall on a cellular level to be able to interact as a quatim device or to sense the unsensable.
