Often physical tragedy is a cause for opportunities for Spiritual growth. What that will be is usually totally up to you. Sometimes that can be as simple as sharing words, options, and understanding. A chance for emotional and spiritual closeness that would not have otherwise come to be. Within that action can come healing and time. How much control we have over any given situation is often a fleeting emotion based on our desires. How much work and effort you wish to put into any of this is not something that anyone can tell you. It must be decided and owned by you. Not the comfort you were looking for I know. But often the only true comfort is in the holding of a hand as we make our journey.

The lost and trapped soul, in a despair of their own making will often be lead into warm freedom by the hand of a little child. In the loss of pain there is always hope. The voice of your thoughts are so loud and clear, that all know you for who you truly are. It is often only through the intervention of a pure child like soul filled with the light of unjudging forgiveness and compassion that progress can be made.

One thing I forgot to mention; off and on last week, when I was getting those energy hugs I mentioned in the Erik journal. Some spirit kept flicking my nose. It was rather odd. I never did figure out who it was. Also I've noticed during the past couple of weeks, when I am home I hear foot steps walking around upstairs or on the stair case. It doesn't bother, but it's odd.
Also, As I mentioned, I totally flaked out on Saturday and skipped my channeling practice. But I promised my guides I would wake up early on Sunday and do it. So Sunday morning came. I lay in bed enjoying the sun come in the window at 8:30am. I was contemplating going back to sleep until 10. Then the radio across the room turned itself on. I guess "they" wanted me to keep my promise. So I got my butt out of bed.
So I went downstairs and into the office. I was channeling for 2 people during the practice session. One with my usual channeling partner in Spirit, Andy. The other was for someone who emailed me out the blue on Facebook. This one was interesting. The mother of a deceased Spirit emailed me last week and I said, ok, I'd try to channel on Friday. Well that night I got a flash of the Spirit in my minds eye before bed. I told the spirit that bed time was only for Erik or my guides, but that I would talk to her on Friday. Well, that next morning the Spirit was waiting for me. Interesting. Well Friday came and went, and I ended up contacting her on Sunday. All went well, but what was remarkable that makes me want to blog about it was that the Spirit was showing me clairvoyently as well as clairaudiently what happened to her after death. And the vision part was fairly symbolic I felt. It was a description of her journey. Very interesting. In anycase I don't want to encroach on the mothers privacy. But I wanted to mention this as the more I work with clairvoyence the more and more I find just how symbolic it all can be. In any case I passed along the messages just fine. I think the whole experience went well. I am grateful for the practice. But one thing came up that I wasnt' comfortable with. The mother asked me to ask the Spirit about a specific object and it's location. I am not sure if this was a "Test the medium" thing or a serious question. When I thought about her question the Spirit showed me shrugging her shoulders and shaking her head. But That's beside the point. I want to strongly say I find such questions to be divination and an anathema to me. Abhorrent. I almost even find it imoral. I firmly believe Spiritual communication should only be for Spiritual, emotional, and life development; for Spiritual evolution; and all else is frivolous and a waste of Spirit's time. I know very well that many will disagree and even strong oppose this view and even then think negatively think of me. But this is where I am at. I am not a professional medium, nor do I ever intend to be one. I am an amateur, who's only been doing this since last fall! I would like to consider myself an afterlife researcher, and a teacher who has mediumistic experiences. Perhaps this will change in the future, but I am concerned with my spiritual development, learning, and sharing what I find. Just my view.

I've not been feeling the best the past couple of days. And Friday I walked home from work in the rain as I forgot my umbrella. But it was fine. I got in and ate and was getting ready for my channeling practice with Andy and Lydia, but I totally felt like crud. So "they" told me it would be ok to cancel it. but I was determined to try. I was able to get what I think might be an answer to one question, but just was too worn out to do any more. So I went to bed early. On a side note I was able to very clearly see and speak to my paternal grandmother for a brief moment. That was interesting. Also, did some more spirit healing. Always an interesting experience. Saterday was more glum weather so I hybernated and chilled out and rested. I read a lot and slept. Which really helped as I feel pretty good this morning! It's sunny out and I am ready to get back into the swing of things.
Here is my personal mantra of late. It really helps me focus.
Mantra:
I will not let others reactions hold me hostage.
I will strive for emotional balance
I will look for love
I will strive to see as much as I can
I will trust in myself
I will forgive myself

One of the greatest things you can remember in the study of the "Spiritual" is never to assume. Human labels, perceptions, understanding, beliefs, and meaning are individualistic experiences that are different for everyone, every group, and every thought. (even to those in Spirit!) Always ask, always seek, always surrender to love.
Robert Monroe said, "Anything that you can possibliy concieve of now as a goal in the human experience is inadequate when compared to what the possibilities, options, availabilities are upon graduating the human experiences. This is the limitation humans place upon themselves." "The goals outside of the human experience are so spectatular that they are far outside of anything we can presently concieve of".
Seth said, This stems from fear of the loss of our personality and individual identity, or our self. This couldn't be further from the truth. We are so much more! We should not fear, we should rejoice in future freedom to explore ourselves. Who we are never dies, who we can become is continually being born! Do not rely on someone telling you what IS, rely on yourself exploring who you ARE and what you wish to DO and BE.
So all this said, we should not worry so much. Because life is about the never ending journey of self expression, self discovery, and finding ever greater experiences.
Joy and Thankfulness, the eternal impulse.
Honor the impulse of your spirit, dig for simple joy at the core of your being. Seek simple understandings for little happiness of the moment.
If your life were to end in the next hour what about your past would you be thankful for and why? How does this make you feel? Within that gratitude can you find any moments of joy? If you had to choose one joyful moment to share with one person before you died, what would that be. These joyful moments know not death. They are who you really are. They are part of your eternal light and are a beacon to others. Sharing your personal joy is the among the greatest things you can ever do. If joyful moments of gratitude are hard to find. If all seems bleak and overwhelming. Just sit quietly and thank yourself for just being. You have something to offer others. You have something to say, you have something to share. You can make a difference. Give gratitude and have joy that this is available to you. It never goes away. It never dies. In this life or beyond, the simple possibilities of joy and thankfulness never goes away.
April 21, 2011 Q: Does someone who dies, ever decide to just stay and wait for their loved one?
A:
Yes, no, maybe, depends, but not like you think. Confused? Me too. But that's because it's not a yes or no answer. Just as your views, beliefs, perceptions and understanding changes throughout your life time, so to do those of those who are dis-incarnate. All this changes due to experience, and knowledge and understanding as they progress. Then as they progress, their reality changes. This is due to the changes and opportunities for new creation that are brought about due to new knowledge, new understandings and experience. When, and as all of this changes, how they relate to and interact with the incarnate change.
Now don't misunderstand. This is neither good, bad or otherwise. It's just about process, perception, and communication technique. For the purpose of this question we are strictly talking about the dis-incarnate. Here are some scenarios.
-Many times, upon death, the Spirit will have certain beliefs that are so strong, that they self-create a reality around them that is a per-verbally dense condition that prevents recognition of anything beyond the belief. In some, they then exist in this illusionary reality. Sometimes, they then, being unable to perceive more; due to various reasons including fear; They turn to past affections and connections, or even obsessions of various kinds. This then enables a side shift in existence which brings the earth plane back to view. They will then seek to enmesh themselves in a sort of half life on Earth. Or they will try to live around the life or existence of those who are incarnate.
-Most people are able to bypass such a unsatisfactory existence. Upon death they side step their souls into a in-between astral existence. All this means is that they are not trapped, but they can fully interact with those on Earth as if they are still there. But they have not had a chance to reconnect with their higher self or regain their memories. ect. During this transition time, although different for everyone.... they are able to surround, follow, and make the attempt to connect with the incarnate. And depending on success, experience, knowledge, or lack there of they are then progressed to higher existences. Afterwich, they can come back in various ways, ect, ect.
-Now once the basics of return, reconnection, and regain have been achieved; A dis-incarnate can return. But this is misleading. Because the various dimensions overlay and are within each other and are not linear. So it is better to think not of visits, communication, and interaction in terms of "being with" but rather of "connecting to". The dis-incarnate communication can take on many manifestations. And as mentioned before, All of it depends on the belief, perception, knowledge, experience, and understanding of both the dis-incarnate and the incarnate. And lastly intention of everyone involved. Whew! exhausting!
-You can be sure that they will hear love sent their way. They will feel need. They often desire to share your moments. Sad and happy. Remembrances and Holidays. They also join you in dream states. As you join them in their existences. Although it is rare you will remember. You generally only remember as your spirit approaches the return to physicality. Or your body's interpretation of the experience. This is just and OK as it is important to retain your narrow focus on the 3D experience or your longing for Spirit would endanger your higher self's goals.
-So after all that, A Spirit can choose via of any type of emotional connection to tune into an incarnate life. Be that following them around, guide, influence, chat-up, or just pester. And if the incarnates higher self, guides and angels ok it; for whatever reason, it will be allowed. But, at the same time this "tuning into" happens, the Spirit is not necessarily stuck or physically there 24/7 nor are they limited to an existence on one level or plane. They like us are multi-dimensional. And can exist or tune-into more than one "perceived place" at once. Think of a sun. It's light hits Mars and it's martian atmosphere just as much as Earths. Each planet has it's own realm or existence and they are very different, but the suns light goes there none-the-less. Is the light there on Mars, any less than on Earth? Perhaps, but it is a matter relating to the observer. How much the Spirit "tunes into" and in what manifestation, and for how long is often a choice. Often the choice is one born of a love connection. So they continue to tune into you. How this appears to "them" is dependent on their progress, evolution, experience, and perception. How it appears to you; it may seem like they wait for you. The details of how, what, and why are often beyond us. And really it doesn't matter. It is better to trust in the fact that mutual love connections can and do survive physical death. Fear not their loss. You remain.

Q-(my question today)
Is it easy for our departed loved ones to visit us. Is there a certain point they are prevented from visiting us? For example; why did I not hear from my grand parents in dreams that I can remember right after they died?
A-
Here is what I found out:
Although sometimes they may not visit due to their perceptions and beliefs. They may have a variety of reasons for not communicating. Such as discomfort for the denser planes of existence, or lack of affinity or affection. Or it may be that the needs of the incarnates development and evolution outweighs desired communication, there by communication would only occur upon reunification. Other times it may be that the incarnates energetic and emotional state is blocking communication, or that the disincarnate's knowledge is such that they do not know how to get around it, or seek or utilize help to get around communication problems. So the prevention of communication may be self inflicted by either party or it may be by choice, or by necessity.
I'll use me as an example. I was told by my guides that because my higher self's goal of learning to overcome fear was so strong, that I had blocked my abilities. And that the process of awakening me, needed to be handled in a certain self fulfilling way for education, and empowerment; that they actually needed to learn to hide themselves from me so that I could focus on and experience and learn what I needed to before communication could take place. Because if they had made them selves known to me early on, that I would not have encountered Spiritual fear, and then would not have learned to overcome it, or learn what I needed to. That I would have focused on them instead.
Now I have to be honest, I don't really like that. I want to know what the heck my higher self and guides were thinking. I don't mean that in a mean way or angry way. Just what I went through was exasperating. But at the same time, it's nice to know I can pursue a relationship with my grandparents on my own time, without all the baggage I used to have. Although frankly I feel guilty because I feel like I've not had time to pursue a relationship with them. They died when I was in my late teens and early 20's and I never knew them as an adult. So I am not really sure how to get started on that. But Like I am repeatedly told, I need to live in the now, not in the spirit world. Bleh. (eye roll)
Here is more from Spirit:
"Spirit wants to communicate but all is a further process. Many people upon passing rush to regale their loved ones about their new reality. Their strongest desire is to tell their loved ones that they are not dead. They they still live. Their new joy is often so great that they despair that you are in such pain. This joy, this new or rediscovered reality is so absorbing for some that it is only after some their ecstatic emotions is spent in new experience are they able to calm their senses and turn back to those still incarnate. Then comes the burning desire for reunification and comfort. Some Spirits of a certain perception flock to those incarnates that are sensitive to Spirit. They are like great ambling crowds at your great fairgrounds. These people often are not yet ready for the higher planes and the broader views. Their focus remains narrow and centered upon the self. Often for good reason. Other spirits of a more experienced nature will see this and not wish to even bother as they know reunification will approach soon enough. The very idea of the energy necessary for the attempt at communication is too much for them.
Then there are the variences of the incarnates energy fields. Such as the energy-mind warps particular to communication within the physical and spiritual make up of the incarnate; Some auras, some energy fields are so thick it looks like a jumble of junk in a trash dump. Impossible to sort out. Other people are entombed in hard skins or emotional rock that nothing but the harshest energy can pierce. And some are in soft webs of blured haze. Most of the time this is to ensure a focused life, but other times it can lead to mental handicaps. Lastly many sensitives have a master switch they can consiceously trigger. All of this is but a fraction of the possible within your self created reality."
*My impressions-- I am not sure that any of this is comforting, but it did sort of answer my question as to my grandparents. I suppose. . . I just it's best to just use this information for what it is. That being, that communication is complex and dependent on many things. Sucks, but seems that it is so. meh....

"That you know you have a body, is taken for granted. What many do not realize is that you are so much more. Many do not care, nor are they interested in accepting their true natures. For some, this is fine and well. To them, the narrow unthinking focus upon the life around them is such that the intensity of being, or situation is warranted for a specific purpose. To the rest, you can facilitate a change of perspective. You can show them that they are not this fleshy body. You do this through the way you lead your life and how you profess your understanding of it. You always cause reflections of yourself in your environment. Whether this happens consciously or unconsciously is up to you.
Do not become overwhelmed with your lack of understanding. You will learn. Do not worry about what to do next. Ask and you will be guided. Do not fear. Seek and you will find yourself again. You always are in the process of returning to yourself through love. That you have a glimmer of awareness is enough to start.
There are ever greater experiences to have both in your current life and in Spirit.
Do not think of your body as who you are. Do not think of your soul as a body living on some plane of existence. Think of the essence of all that you are. You are a conscious energy existing in and through multiple dimensions at the same time. This energy is not a state of being, but your awareness of your relation to this energy IS. It is better to describe yourself as emotional energetic thought. This then reaches out through dimensional existences according to manifested experiences of love or fear. Which then feeds back in upon itself. You are a great cloud of cycling information that works like a great engine of data creating for itself a faster and greater processor. This gives rise to greater levels of not only self awareness but awareness of the interconnectedness of all energy manifestations. The more conscious you become to your true nature and all it encompasses, the more options you have for self expression. The more experiences you have available to you. The more you can learn, understand, grow. The more you can create. This is part of the divine process of creation. You move to creation of ever greater expanding realities to experience. There are no limits except for that which you place upon yourself.
The higher you become vibrationally, the lighter the elements that make up your Spiritual body become. The space between your subatomic makeup become greater and greater. This is because new vast distances that make up your existence are filled with ever Greater proportions of the God-force or universal Life-force. April 15, 2011Your connection to Spirit is always one of Hope
Humanity has ALWAYS sought answers from the spirit world. Since the dawn of time, up through today. What people usually forget is that they are Spirit. The life all around them is a tool. How they interact with that tool has always been up to them. Although for many, a problem with the instructions has been experienced.; For some, they just flat out can't find the instructions, for others; They think they are reading a different language, then for others there are bits missing. a call to customer service is desired and warranted! That is where Spirit communication comes in.
So now we are running about the room looking for the phone. Some people throw their hands in the air and scream and cuss. Some people tear the room up. Some people put their hands on their chin and pout, then others calmly see the phone under the seat cushion and go get it. (then there are those who's blue tooth speaker is in their ear already!)
This metaphor is about communicating with Spirit. Most people see this as something outside of themselves and feel like it has to come from outside of themselves from someone who knows better. Or that the phone company needs to come over and plug a jack into their head. Not true!! You have a built-in hardwired direct line to your Higher Self, your guides, your angels and your loved ones in Spirit. What enables the connection is you not only wanting the connection, but you have to make time to pick up the phone!
In this present day and age there are so many new labels for eternal concepts. Some refer to channeling, some refer to telepathy, some refer to mediumship, some refer to techniques, modalities, all sorts of qualitative devices and methodologies. But here is a key to communication. That is Faith, Acceptance, Intent, through thought based action. This has always been about what is inside of all of us. The Connection to Spirit from that which is within.
That in you, that of you which is Spirit, is the tendril or facet of your Higher Self and it is not limited by Space-time. The energy connections that bind you to the 3d of this life is a vortex-warp of realized perception made real by the power of divine creative thought that is you!. Your connection to Spirit is meant to be. It is, always has, and will forever be a part of who you are!

One of the biggest personal problems I've had of late when it comes to spirits is that of "trust".
-It stems from:
*perceived hurt feelings and past experiences.
*lack of the big picture
*lack of understanding
*lack of knowledge
*improper value judgments
*my root fears of all types
*my attempt to label spirit and their actions, lack of, and motivations
The fact of the matter is that those in Spirit regardless of origin are self creating entities in their own right, just like me. The range of their experience, knowledge and understanding is beyond my current comprehension. Just as I grow, learn, and live through new experiences, so to do those in Spirit. Death and or dis-incarnation does not make my preconceived idea of a perfect being. Erik and the gang are not perfect. They learn just as much from us as we do from them. Don't believe that? What do you suppose "learning to be a guide" means to them? Do you suppose everyone in spirit desires this path or are interested in passing along wisdom?
Some incarnate people get really upset with those in Spirit who give less than satisfactory answers. Myself included. But there is so much going on that we really do need to step away and think about as many permutations as possible when thinking about Spirit communication. Now I am NOT implying anything about any one particular Spirit, but,
Here are some considerations: (in no particular order)
-origin of being answering the question. ie. Angel, Ascended Master, ET, Deity, Elemental, Lower evolved creature, cousin bob, ect.
-The experience of said dis-incarnate
-The emotional and Spiritual level of said being
-The unique personality of the being coming through the unique personality of the experiencer.
-The knowledge of the being. Knowledge and understanding through experience is not the same thing
-The free will of ALL involved.
-The greater good outweighing the good of the one
-Perceptions, opinions, and feelings of all involved
-Your higher self is King. It can and does over-rule guides, family, ect.
-Action, and lack of action can have consequences which can lead to Karmic debt or payment or freedom
-Your free will within your vibrational state has just as much validity as anyone else's.
These are just a few considerations. So you see it is important to keep such things in mind when undertaking Spiritual development that involves dis-incarnate communications. Mistakes can and will occur on both sides of the veil. But what is important is that you be conscious of your intent and original creative thought. It sounds like a small simple thing. But to master it will be among the greatest feats your soul will make. For by mastering it you empower all the potential self creation of your personal reality. Spirit can help you do this. While they make mistakes and come in all levels of perfection, your guides and angels do have your best interest at heart. Their intent in conjunction with your higher self is pure. By focusing on those two intents, theirs and yours, you can move your self to ever greater manifestations of your highest possible self. This is the root of all trust. Trust in yourself. It is not trust in Spirits but the trust that you are a Spirit on a journey to greater purity.
April 13, 2011I had a rough couple of days the start of this week. I am not sure what was going on. I think it was a combination of metaphysical, emotional, and physical stresses, along with daily life had just piled up to such a degree I went into a a downward spiral and ended up in bad attitude land. I get like that sometimes. I go go go go... and then crash and burn. In any case; I am feeling much better today and reading to get back up running. Aside from my regular job and family- Tonight I have a channeling practice session; Tomorrow I am giving a Reiki class/attunement, then an appointment on Friday. Also, I am currently researching guides, channeling, dreams and other topics to write about.

The duality of living with purpose and being in the now without purpose is another great emotional and spiritual lesson. How we balance such a concept will help define us and lead us through future experiences. --Spirit
I frequently have a hard time with this concept. There is a lot more to it than at first glance. One of the things I struggle with the most is making the time to quietly live in the now. To just live in the life which is around me now. So much of the time, my focus is on Spirit or that which is "other". It can be quite draining at times. For me, Spirit is often just as real or in my awareness to some degree as my current work, family, friends, or world around me. And sometimes, when I get to distracted by Spirit; Spirit will suddenly go silent. I can still sense them, talk to them ect., but they stop coming to me. They do this as a polite, quiet way, of saying...."you need to live life now, focus on life around you". Which is all good and fine, but it can be rather shocking for me. It's like suddenly having a companion stop talking to you. Or the phone going dead. Somewhat rather awkward and uncomfortable. And where I get myself into trouble is rather than "going to them" and saying, "Hey you!" I'll just get upset that that they went (pardon the pun) dead. :) And of course... Sometimes, I then get offended and throw myself a selfish pity party.... "poor me, no one loves me... boo hooo..." Of which, they back off even further and let me rant. Then when I am done and actually go "to" them, they then say, "We are always able to hear you, you just have to speak, but you came to this life for a reason. If your not trying to actively take the time to live life, your wasting your time and our time. Go pick the batons back up and try to keep juggling. If you keep it up, you might just master the skill."

(grin) Even during rest, time off and relaxation, Spirit calls. As my Teacher has been telling me lately. "There is always work to be done in the light through love. There is always hope to carry". A channeled message in a sec.... rounding out a busy week of channeling and Reiki teaching/attunements.
Here is today's message. 04-08-2011
"Fear not the darkness. Fear not the unknown, Turn from doubt. To master your life is a process. One must not not think that progression is about mastering all of the possible experiences of all existences.
But, one must master all possible aspects of oneself. You do this through experience or you do this through awakening to understanding of ones self through self mastery. Mastership means balance of emotion within the varying observation points of the experience.
Mastership of passion, desire, intent, all of the higher and lower emotions, intellect, compassion, understanding; Understanding the flexibility and fluidity of changing your observation point within your life experience as you choose. You can view life from within the narrow moment of the now, or you can step back into and up through your self and view from afar at all the permutations that the experience manifests through your personality and will.
Then you try to understand the big picture as it relates to what your higher self wishes to understand. So you see, progression is not about living through every possible experience that is created from the source will, but it is about moving through the mastery of oneself.
But do not be deceived into false categorization of this process. IN your present incarnation you simply do not have the facilities to comprehend or view what this entails.
We tell you that this is the journey of the ten thousand lifetime. But this too is but a turn of the phrase to get you to understand that you are so much more than you can understand.
Do not fear this. You move through light, you move to light, and you will move again into the light. Understand you are light. Do not get sidetracked on doubt, worry, frustration, and anxiety.
Work on the aspects of yourself you know to be good, pure, and whole. Work to understand and master those you need help in, and let go of those which you can not change.
It all is a part of who you are and your journey. Do not fight it. Do not burn that which you can not. Simply hold on to which you view with desired duty, goal, purpose, and the will of love.
You know in your heart what it means to progress and what it means to look for self improvement through love. Even should the dark linger, Continue to turn your eyes forward into the light. Responsibility for moving into love starts with you. No one, no spirit can do it for you. It must be a conscious decision that you wish to start. Start today, start now, start and lead through love.

Belief, Thought, Action
Right Belief, right thought, right action. At first I thought this a thoroughly rude phrase. To me it reeked of blind faith. I did not like it. It is one that is tossed about in all circles of spirituality, religion and various schools of thought.
But Spirit spoke to me and Spirit would like you to know that this does not mean what you think it means. It means 'rightness through knowledge' as lived through life. It means discovering the personal truth through that which we learn about ourselves. It means exploring All that is Spirit within ourselves. Such a concept will re-appear in life in ever wider circles. Part of the concept of right thought means making and maintaining a conscious effort to desire and improve the current representation of ones soul. Always ask, How can I serve myself, how can I serve others. How can I hold helpful and sympathetic thought through compassionate action in my life. How can I quell the chaos of mental association leaps? How to I reign in the scattered jumble of thoughts to focus on what is important. How can I manage thought?
There are many ways to approach these questions. One can find solutions in any of the worlds religions and Spiritual traditions as well as in many of the philosophical ideas postulated through our current history. Think no harm, have no doubt, always bask in kindness. Fearful suspicion of intent is a sure way outside of self assurance. Seek truth in all things. Plow through and turn over prejudice. Climb over ignorance, and seek light of new knowledge. Work in charity and charitable thought for and through others. Everyone has aspects of darkness and light within them. So much of the time we look only at that which we perceive as bad, or evil, without looking at what is good, wholesome, and worthy of fostering growth. By ignoring a broader picture of that which you run across in your experiences you do a dis-service to the opportunities presented at your feet.
Right action, follows right thought. By consciously tuning into the thoughts behind the action we can reign in the chaos of the lower emotions.
Much of the time, we run around without knowing what to do about any given life experience. We seem to be drowning in helplessness. Sometimes we frantically rush into action without thinking about cause and effect. Deep contemplation on these matters is not necessary. But it would be advisable to lead your quick action with consideration of yourself and others. One of the important concepts to learn in self building is to quickly act with unselfish dedication. To understand "that which is Other" is also you. That by helping others, you help yourself.
Try not to stress over what seems your lot in life or what has been seemingly dumped at your feet. It is better to try to understand and work through how you can do the best with what you have. Take what you have and live through it in a way that represents your highest self, then look for better aspects of what you learned and seek to share it with others through love. By concentrating on what we have that is good; what we've made that is good; we will bring more of it into our lives. ---- My thoughts on my lessons today

Proof- vs. Free will,
A friend of mine recently started a discussion on the Divine providing proof of it's existence. What would happen to the world if verifiable proof was universally demonstrated. It is actually a very common topic. Subjective evidence of Divinity within objective experiences are all around us. It's always been up to us to discover which perceptions serve our current beliefs there by creating awareness of ourselves and whatever path we choose. So much of our "what if's" depend on personal belief creating our reality in an conscious or unconscious way. How one personally defines God, and evidence will manifest proof or keep one looking for answers. How one views free will and the nature of the universes interacting within these perceptions would define cause and effect as we know it. Many times, people; including myself, are frustrated with spirit communication. I've found that the result of asking for help can depend on the concept of "right topic, right point of view, asking the right person, in the right way." This all sounds very fishy and mysterious, I know. But what is happening is that we are often wandering around with a blind fold on. So we call out to someone who can see the big overview picture of the maze. But not only do we have the blind fold on; we have forgotten that we are supposed to figure out to use the walls to feel our way down the maze of life, solve the puzzle and get the cheese. And sometimes, we get a bad attitude or let ourselves get lost. So when we seek answers to solve the puzzle we might be asking the wrong questions, of the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Some times, the whole point of no communication is that what we need to experience or learn, but be done alone. That the rewards of that will be further enlightenment, that would not have occurred if the answer had been given. What is most important is Proper intent, Patience, Asking in the right way, Asking the right question, for the right reasons, and Practice without expectations. It must all happen on Spirits terms not ours. Faith, trust, and perseverance.

I'd like to encourage everyone to write letters to your loved ones who have crossed over. Either on the computer (email, text file, or word), or on paper, in a journal. I assure you your loved ones will not only hear you, they may very well be looking over your shoulder. Your thoughts of love will instantly manifest into communication. And you might just be surprised at the result! Dreams, thought, visuals, or even words...not only that it will make you feel better. Elisa and I keep private channeling journals with Erik. As well, I often talk to my guides this way. You start, but just writing about anything you are thinking of or feel. Then if you feel that you have something to say in reply... write that down. Ask questions. Write down anything that seems to answer your question. Carry on like this for some time. As time passes you will notice that you may wonder where certain thoughts in reply come from... Keep exploring and trust that your loved ones are paying attention!

Q: What is awakening to awareness like?
It is as if all your life you are walking through a rock filled mountain gorge. Twists and turns, you see light overhead. The filtered light at the bottom of the canyon is unique to that spot you stand. It colors the rock, illuminates, creates shadow. Scenes of dark, scenes of great Beauty, scenes of illusion. But before long, you come along a switchback. The path is narrow and steep and winds back and forth. All your focus is on keeping from falling and ascending to the top. But upon reaching the last bend, you find yourself on top of a great bluff and the entirety of the sun's light is upon you. And you realize that the individual qualities of light that made up your journey is but the one, of the glorious sun. All of it strikes your being, and you gaze out and can see the entirety of your journey far below. Thinking of your past path, you take in the journey with solemn reflection and it flavors your life from then on. So is, all the lives and manifestations of your soul. Each, a rock cut canyon into themselves. Now, at the top of the bluff you can see, and are aware of each of the trails. This gives you an understanding and broad picture of that which is around you.-- Voice of Spirit
