I woke up this morning at 2:22. I heard the sleigh bells on the back door ring by themselves. I woke up at 3:33 again.

Had a very nice long family weekend up north. Not too much to report. I woke up in the early am to a Spirit child I know calling to me. When i figured out who it was she giggled and showed me an image of "my little pony" and a symbol for a 'protector'. I was amused. I spent part of the weekend reading a Doreen Virtue book.

Not much to report on. I took the weekend off from all things internet and Spiritual. It's really good to take a break every once in a while and totally try to disconect. I spend the weekend imersed into a new video game I bought. I am no where near the gamer Robert is, but every few years when a new one comes out that I really like, I let myself have a couple 'marathon' total escape sessions. So other than yard work, that's what I was up to this weekend. I was very pleased to get away. Dealing with Spiritual and emotional matters can get draining sometimes. Well, back to the grind stone. I am currently working on an article about micro and macro metaphysics. I plan on spending the next several months concintrating on writing. I do not plan to take part of any talk or radio show stuff mentioned on the CE blog. I am just not interested right now. I don't think on my feet, on the fly well, and my verbal channeling is not the best. Aside from that with family and work and limited schedule I just don't see were I would fit it in. Also, those formats just don't interest me at all in so far as life experiences go. I find such things very stressful, and can't ever see myself doing them. On an asside note, if you have not looked at Linda's new article on emotional manifestion, please do. http://www.dragonofdrama.com/the_weekly_lessons

I was chatting with one of my Spirit team members today. Eric. He was saying my problem lately is that I've got this thing where I think everyone has to come before me, and if I don't create that, I feel guilty. As if somehow enjoyin life, taking care of myself and having fun take a second place to everyone else. I know better, and so I beat myself up and create this stagnant push pull that just freezes me up. That if I put myself first, and let go of the guilt, that I would naturally be drawn to help those without the stress of worry about doing the right thing. He said, People think the only right thing is outside, but it's inside. I told him that maybe I felt this way because I spent the first 30 years of my life feeling like I wasted it. He said, no, that wasn't true because I was deeply enmeshed on re-balancing all my inner experiences, on top of just surviving and educating myself. So it's not ever good to think of anything wasted, the only thing wasted is not taking the time to work on how i see myself.

On another note, Here is a channeling tip I saw online; ""Communication varies from imagination in that, with imagination, you start a discussion of the various ways to perform a task or what a statement means. Communication from outside comes in very clearly, distinctly, and unequivocally.""

A tip from my friend Dawn on connecting with your guides.

".the first thing to do is to ask your guides to strengthen the link between you and explain your desire to be in communication from the heart to them, just as you would a friend, they will hear every word and act on what you say, trust in this. It may not happen quickly & you may need to be doing an exercise to tap into your hearing, it doesn't just happen without taking steps to show you are serious and of the right intent, unless a person was born with an already developed ability. It takes practise and commitment, meditation is always a good place to start but the most important step is talking to your guides, know that they are right before you listening and want to help you very much."

This weekend someone emailed me requesting channeling tips. Really, other than what I've already posted here on my website, I don't have a lot of further advice at the moment to pass out. I will eventually, but in the meantime, I really recommend everyone taking a look at all the books out there already on "how to channel" or "how to be a medium". There are tons of them online at Amazon, or Barnes n noble etc. I guess the number one thing I can recommend is to keep an open mind. Toss out all the labels, categories and shoulda coulda wouldas that you hear about. Toss out descriptions of what your own experience is suppose to be like. And just let yourself feel. My guides taught me everything I know. So that is my advice. Set a time, date and length of time appointment at least once a week and stick to it, well, forever such activity gives you joy. Dedication, perseverance, and patience is vital. Toss out limiting ideas on what communication is suppose to sound, feel, or seem like. It really is different for everyone. It really is all about understanding emotion, thought, and visualization. Try to understand the nature of thought, feelings, and imagination as it correlates to communication. These are key. Remember. There is not magic bullet, no one way, no THE way. It is work. And it does take a commitment. In the mean time, here are a couple of physical mediumship tips.

1) Tip #1 Help with seeing spirit materialization's or projections of some fashion.

It can have an effect, provided that one's spiritual intent is in the right place, along with a mind free of emotion or negative energy. Just keep in mind; that phenomena happens on Spirits time table, not ours.

Say to yourself. I want to experience any visualizations that Spirit wishes to show me, for the greater good and in the Light. Then one should concentrate on a dark corner and let your vision go static and blurry as if you are looking at an eye chart that was too small to see. That you should just zone out and let your vision go blurry and try not to blink much. To pick a spot and try not to look away-- but imagine that you could still notice stuff in your peripheral vision. To keep looking without expectation until the lights and dark started to merge and go all gestalt on you. Let the overlapping patterns and imagined shadows take over.

If nothing happens after 5-10 min. Stop. If you don't stop it is akin to forcing yourself into self hypnosis/trance, which if you continue without Spirit guide/angel help might make you nauseous and ill. Just stop and try again on a regular schedule the next day or week.

2) Tip #2 Help with sensing spirit touches

You can do this at night before bed or when your alone in a room during the day. It’s a great visualization technique to attempt to feel Spirit energy. #1 First pray to or just ask in your mind, God or the light or whatever, or ask your guides/angels to help you with communication for the greater good in whatever way Spirit or God will allow. #2 When you lay down in the dark Or daylight ect. trying to sleep, meditation and what not. Lay down on your back, put your hands and arms to your side, blanket off. Sheet down. Close your eyes and stare at the back of your eye lids. Breath normal but long steady. Imagine there is someone across the room from you. But you can’t make them out. You have no idea what they look like. Doesn’t’ matter. But if you think of a person, just try to imagine how they make you feel. Bask in that feeling. Take your time. Imagine you can just make out their shape behind your eye lids. The shape is non distinct. The shape is heavy, imagine it coalescing and getting thicker. Like a fog coming into being. In your imagination, will it to come closer,,, and closer…and closer…. Imagine the air feeling heavier around you. Thick. Thicker… Closer Closer….. Imagine that the fog shape is thick and next to you. Imagine that it is hovering right next to your face but not touching. Imagine the shapes outlined from behind your eyelids. As if it is partially blocking the light. Then.. let your breath go still…. and concentrate on your hair follicles. Such as the feeling you get from a static charge off a balloon. You may have to practice trying to feel your hair with your eyes closed ahead of time. Just be still and wait, thinking of nothing but seeing if you can feel your hair, any where on your body. Don’t ever forget #1. It’s sets the ‘intent’. But #2 can be altered to however way you find works best. I found this to be a good beginning technique to begin sensing spirit touches.

*Reminder, you never ever want to do any of this or even seeking mental communication without asking for protection from God, the Light, the Good, or your guides/angels. "They've got your back, but you need to make the first move". If you don't you risk the unwanted.

** Second important reminder. Always after each "session" or attempt at communication, etc. "Always close with thanks to God, the Light, the Universe, Guides/Angels, for meeting with you or for helping you with your experience. And ask them to help you close the energy down and reassert that you will try again or meet with them again as such and such a time".

Common questions Uncommon Answers.

I've been thinking about my Spiritual intent of late. I was pursuing the wide range of questions I've been asked since my physical interaction with Elisa and Erik in this life. It is really quite remarkable the variation of questions people would like to ask Erik, guides, angels, or myself. Along that line I was thinking about the types of questions and themes people want to know about. Thinking how I feel about those types or categories of questions. For example here is a brief list:

Spiritual personal divination:

*What is my life purpose?

*What are my Spiritual goals?

*What am I here to do?

*Will I ever be happy?

Spiritual communication:

*How do I channel?

*I want to talk to (insert person)

Spiritual Answers:

*Why is this happening to me?

*Why do bad things happen?

*What is the afterlife like?

General personal divination:

*Will I find love?

*Will I get that job?

*I feel directionless what should I do?

*Will I ever get well?

Prove it Questions:

*How do I know this is real?

*What is dead grandmas favorite color?

*Why can't spirits type a letter to me?

*Why can't Erik et.al. do what I want?

General Divination:

*Will there ever be world peace?

*Find missing x child

General:

*Tell me about x

Then there are metaphysical and spiritual questions of a more academic nature. Such as exploring the nature of Divinity, the nature of emotion and the soul. The reasons for life, universe, dimensional manifestation, ect. And these don't even include all the other research options such as physical mediumship, ITC, and Healing.

There are so many other questions, but they seem to follow these themes. There are also many people who are into going to others out of boredom, laziness and entertainment. In the short year and a half or so, I've been into Spiritual Communication, I've definitely experienced a bit of everything. Both in being asked, having or not having the answers and deciding how I feel about them. One thing that strikes me is that all of them have been opportunities for choice. To decide who I wish to be, and what I wish to experience. Opportunities for setting boundaries, balancing my personal power and energy and deciding on what direction I wished to explore. For that I am grateful. That said though, there are definitely areas that excite and bring great joy to me. And other areas that revile me and turn my stomach. And still others that I feel Spirit will never be able to give a proper answer. For much of these choices offered to me totally depend on my personal beliefs, perspectives and perceptions of how life works. Both incarnate and dis-incarnate. For me, I firmly believe that many answers can only be answered by the observer and the experiencer. For example, the question, "What is my life purpose?" I firmly believe that this is one of the very points of life. To discover this. That the journey to do so will uncover who we are and give us a deep understanding that no Spirit will ever be able to tell you. As far as predictive questions such as, will I ever be well, or will I get that job. I believe when Spirits or a psychic tell you the answer that they are working with snap shots of if, then, thus might happen scenarios. Probabilities, possibilities and likely to occur dimensional experiences. It involves the interactions of everyone involved free will. And to tell you an answer, might just limit your options. That's not to say asking is wrong, but I feel they should spend a week in deep intensive self reflection before they ask Spirit. It's our emotions, thoughts and actions that need to be explored, not the future what if's.

So you're probably asking, well, so what? What does this all mean then? It doesn't mean anything. I am just exploring my thoughts of the past year about questions. I definitely have a favorite type of question. Those pertaining to emotions, manifesting thought, metaphysics, afterlife research, communication methods and techniques, general spiritual questions.

To be honest I am not very fond of personal facilitation's. There very often is a heavy emotional component from the sitter that I often struggle to process and experience. A lot of that is my own fear of others emotional expressions. It's not fair to those who work with me, but it is there. It sometimes weights on me and stresses me out. So to a large degree the past year has been about developing my empathy, understanding, compassion and processing of emotional experiences. I am grateful. But even so, for that reason facilitation's have not been something that made me excited or happy. The best facilitation's have been one's where Eric, others or the spirit themselves have come to me in person! ie. Andy, Eric, Em, Dean, and a few others. Those have been amazing. There was no pressure of me seeking anything. They were just there. They impressed themselves on me with thought, words, and vision. Each one of those experiences have been phenomenal.

The other type of questions I dislike are divination ones. In fact I flat out refuse to even consider them unless they come of their own volition during a facilitation or session with guides/angels.

I know this all sounds very negative, but there are questions that I love. Those that let me explore! Those that I can dig in with some part of me that is excited about uncovering the answer. Be it via vision, or manifestation or thought. I also like the questions that explore the human condition. The nature of emotional thought, and manifesting life. So, this simply means that when I go through questions I am on the lookout for those that move my inner passion for joy. Those questions that manifest a learning experience, those that can allow me to grow as opposed to blindly serving, giving away my personal power or draining me with fear. That's not to say I won't help if I can. It's to say there are boundaries. There are plenty of mediums out there that do divination for a living. As for me, I am here to join hands with those who want to explore the inner wonders of who we are. To remember all that we can be and all that may be possible to experience by working hard for ourselves, and others. My guides have often said, that I am in an apprenticeship. I used to think that was about mediumship. Most people seek to find out who they are. Recently I feel I've discovered that this is actually an apprenticeship in mastering myself, who I am. This is what I want. To master myself, through life, to help others to do the same.

Thanks for reading.
