Do spirits lie?

Personal opinion alert! Cover your ears!

Over the weekend I was asked by someone with a complex experience, "Do or Can Spirits lie?" What do I do, or think when what I've been told through mediums (including one's own communication) turns out completely different?

1)

If there is one thing I will always tell people, no matter who they are; it is that one should NEVER put faith in any truth but one's own heart. By that I mean, that you come to this life with everything you need to deal with your life. Understanding of it is always best done by how any experience feels to your heart. I don't care who is who is spirit, You are not only your worst judge and critique, you are your BEST evaluator. What it all means to you is imperative to work out. Ultimately no one but you can tell you what you should or shouldn't do. Do do otherwise is to give away your personal power. A spirit or medium can tell you whatever they want for whatever reason till they are blue in the face, but what you come up with in your own heart is far more important. It is not any spirits job, duty or purpose to tell you what is or isn't.

Most people I deal with are either looking for spiritual validation out of personal desire. Or they believe, but want proof how and when they wish it. For me, it was reversed. I was given such a series of subjective proof, that was so strong that I literally have no choice but to roll with it as objective reality. That said, I am still have deep trust issues. I am very critical, judging, in evaluating any belief or circumstance. So much so that regardless of who speaks- incarnate or disnincarnate, I won't pay it any attention until I experience it. As such I am still to this day first in line to put up the disclaimer take of it what you will. I could be experiencing something subjective to me, or just nuts. All I know to do is to put a record of my experiences out there and let the chips fall where they may. I really don't want to know what any consciousness thinks about my personal reality, any further than I could through them. Grated this is my own personal issue based on my own beliefs and feelings. I strongly feel an intense aversion to any form of divination. Part of that is due to the way I was raised. Mostly I don't see the physical as "my real world". I see all of us running around with little parts in a play we wrote, as a tool to understand emotional experience. Period. All the desire, emotional drama, is just self created emotional push pull to explore one self in different ways. Not always, but I have a really hard time getting worked up about most things because of this. Boom, alive one day, boom dead and moving on to the next another day. That's not to say I don't value it all, I am just saying validation is subjective on so many levels for so many reasons. Part of it is due to my experiences, and part of it is because of such things like:

In the world of spiritual interaction, there is a difference between incarnate psychic and mediumship readings. They are inter-related, often show up together, but are not always presented accurately together. It can be consciously and subconsciously quite complex and is rarely the same for anyone involved. For example:

***Many times, the medium may make a prediction based on their psychic skill or intuitive impressions; but they may feel like it comes from Spirit.

***Pre-cognition in incarnates comes from, consciously, or unconsciously connecting to one of the many types of energetic retrieval systems of spiritual data. This data in some "systems" is called the akashic records. There are innumerable ways of getting at this data, just as there in how it is presented and processed.

***The beliefs, feelings, and personal energy of not only the medium/psychic, but also the sitter DO have an impact on the reading and data.

***When such data comes directly from a Spirit with conscious intent, that Spirit is working with energetic networks of "probabilities and 'likely-to-occurs'. Snapshots. Not only that,

***Based on their experience, what they can tune into differs and,

***Based on their ability to communicate with the medium combined with the mediums beliefs and emotional filters, the info is subjective.

***And all of this is a moot point, if it conflicts with your incarnate personality's actions, beliefs, and feelings, AND

*** if it conflicts with your higher self's master plan, in which case...

*** Your guides may very well manipulate the script, and through various ways influence the data presented to achieve an emotional reaction that is in line with your souls plan, script, scenario. All of which is interacted with others through co-creation to achieve the desired effect.

*** So yes, from a certain point of view, it is a lie, AND from a certain point of view it is intentional manipulation, but true from certain focus level of spirit consciousness. A probability that did not come to fruition based on others choices.

*** Additionally, the lines of energy that create are always in motion and while happening all at once, what is brought into physical focus are forever changing. And trying to capture or tune into that probability choice as a reality by incarnate or dis-incarnate is problematic at best. Some are better at it that others, due to experience and expanded awareness. ie. Ascended master vs aunt Martha.

***In my experience higher Spirit will and has NEVER given me or anyone a prediction or divination without making it very clear that they and you are working with free will, probability, and likely to occur, and it will be phrased in ways that make it clear that your own choices may or may not be in your best interest. Higher Spirit is far more concerned with your emotional and spiritual development than any physical outcome.

*** All of which leads to state of being, experience, and intention on both sides of the veil as emotional energy.

*** Spirits are conscious energy just like you or me. And yes, while human earth ego is lost upon transition, belief and emotion are not. And all has perceptions of itself, and it's place is all that is. And some of that is very very different than ours. As such answers will, can, and do differ wildly depending on who's asking, who's influencing, and who's viewing the answer...... all along with:

*** The emotional energy and intent of the person seeking answers.

*** In my personal experience, those in Spirit often defer to OUR emotional energy. If our emotional investment is such that it give us comfort in such a way, that we want what we want when we want it, for comfort, for happiness, or because we simply wont or cant listen, they from time to time, tell us what we want to hear, AND / OR let us think and feel whatever we want. And answers will be ambiguous, and vague to enable or facilitate that. It's our own personal truth that will always rule. Even if that means confusion on our part.

*** And some spirits do mislead, depending on their emotional state. And some mislead, because their point of understand is simply unknowable to our human perspectives. All that and more.

SO, for all of that and much more I am sure I've forgotten; I do not get into divination. And Erik et al is right.... It's not that it's wrong, bad, or inappropriate....on either side of the veil; It's that it's complex, convoluted, and fluid, and not always in our best interest. So a spirit or human facilitator can tell you it's fine and predict and assure till their blue in the face. I don't care. I take it all under cautious advisement. For even for all the love and warmth, and personal truth and companionship Iv'e experienced. I don't give trust cards out until I experience not only life, but understanding that personally validates it for me.
