What do you think I said?

What do you think I said?

This is a fun game where I’m listening to my wife and think that I am getting what she says.  Then she asks, “What do you think I said?”

It is surprising how often my synopsis does not hit the target.  I thought how can I be so off in what I am hearing since we both speak the same language.

I am still now sure exactly why this is.  Is it a male female thing?  Do men hear differently?  Am I really from Mars?  (A highly debatable subject on which my kids have definite opinions)

Am I off on my own thoughts so much that I cannot pay attention to the most important person in my life?

Where is my head?

Help me out here, Dear Readers and Dear Writers, what do you think?

I look forward to hearing from you.  Email works for me ab3ring AT juno DOT com

Maybe Seth thinks the same way.  Here is what he has to say on a very similar subject.
