The Art of Dramatic Writing
'Back to the Future' creator: 'They told us time travel movies don't make money'
In a Thursday, July 23, 2015 CNN interview of screenwriter Bob Gale, he said the following:
"The book I recommend to every aspiring writer is 'The Art of Dramatic Writing' by Lajos Egri."
He further stated:  “This was the book from which I learned the craft of dramatic writing, and it was used by many of the best screenwriters of the 1940's and 1950's.”
I just researched the book on Amazon and it is available used for $7.77.  It would seem like money well spent in my estimation based upon the reviews.
Dear Writers, I’m always looking for good information to pass along to each and every one of you.  I do not “pitch” anything or get paid to “promote” or “hype” anything.  My interest is with us as writers, only us and our career / hobby is on my mind.
