Reality

Reality is what you make of it. It is made up in your head and may or may not have anything to do with someone else’s reality. We are talking more than paradigm, more than point of view, more than culture, more than the greater acknowledgements that we make about what colors look like, what flora and fauna look like and act like. We are talking our whole universe of experience that we ourselves have looking through our eyes out onto our world.

That reality translates into who and what we are and how we perceive ourselves, others and our world.

Losing touch with reality can be good, it’s nice to get away in our head for a while, daydream, have a vision, and lose sight of the present once in a while (as long as you’re not driving and affecting my safety, LOL).

Take your reality and apply it to others and it may or may not pertain to them at all. Meanings and inflections and pictures in our heads can alter day by day or month by month. In reality I am not the same person I was 10 years ago, even as little as 5 years ago and I recognize and realize it and am happy that it is that way.

How about you? Are you the same person you were a year ago, 5 years ago? Think about it and how much you have changed and will change in the next year or more.

Everything and everyone changes and change is reality and constant.
