In the words of Freddie Mercury aka Farrokh Bulsara “If you see it, dear, then it is there.”

In the Rolling Stone issue 12 12/1213 July 3-18, 2014 it states on page 81 it states that Freddie Mercury responded to how to analyze Bohemian Rhapsody song he said, “I’ll say no more than what any decent poet would tell you if you dared ask him to analyze his work: If you see it, dear, then it is there.”

It is a beautiful quote and one that all of us writers can take to heart. I’ve written tons of poetry (see my work on other tabs here in this website for numerous examples) and it was often commented to me, “I don’t understand it.” And “It does not make sense to me; you must have some translation going on in your head that does not come across.”

I succumbed to those opinions and tried to be more translatable in my approach and with poetry and other forms of material sometimes it does not translate, it is just; if you get it then it is there.

Sometimes you have to go with editor, publisher, friend suggestions in order to make the story more compelling, more technically correct, but it is the intent that keeps you focused and the trimmings come last in order to get the work done and out the dorr.

What stories are you telling? What books are you publishing? Let me know.

If you are an author with a published book or a band with or without a book or an up and coming celebrity and want to garner following or get your message out there then I’d like to interview you and feature you and your book(s) or message on this web site in one of my blogs.

I would love to help you, Dear Writers; at the same time you will be helping me be a better coach and editor.
