Easiest thing about life

Okay, let’s flip this quote that I wrote:

"The hardest thing about life is accepting your limitations, work with what you have and don't worry about what you don't have." David Alan Binder

“The easiest thing about life is just living day to day, come what may, not worrying about where we are going and just gliding through with no direction. David Alan Binder

If we take the easy way out and glide through life with no direction then we end up where fate or whim or making no choices take us.

“If we chose not to decide we still have made a choice.” Rush, song Freewill

As the song implies doing nothing is a choice. Everything life is choices and you are the ultimate chooser. You get to be the boss of you and you get to decide what happens or what does not happen.

Putting off a decision is also a choice until time expires and the choice is made due to that expiration and it is too late. I see a lot of that, even in people I love but telling them makes no difference, they have to tell themselves and recognize it themselves then they will act. If they do not then they remain at the mercy of procrastination and those choices that are available when it is too late to do anything else.

If it is worth the time for you to think, should I do A or B; then for your sake make a decision and choose one or the other. Failure to decide is the worst decision.

Living a life that is easy on the surface becomes one that is extremely hard and confining. I told my children. If you graduate from high school then your choices (doors open to you) are limited. If you graduate from college so many more choices (doors are open to you) and you have less limitations. More education usually means more money, more money means more choices.

After all it is all up to you, Dear Writers!
