Benefactor

Benefactor

The Google definition of benefactor is “A benefactor is a person who gives some form of help to benefit a person, group or organization (the beneficiary), often gifting a monetary contribution in the form of an endowment to help a cause.”

In my life I’ve been on both ends of the benefactor benefit. Most of the times on the giving end. If you have noticed at the end of every message I’ve been requesting benefactor assistance. Let me explain. A Dear Reader made a request or suggestion saying that this site was hard on the eyes and not professional and I admit it is not. However, I am not in a position to hire a professional to make it look so much nicer but would like to do so.

One way to do that would be for a benefactor to pay for that upgrade and the way I would do it would be to not take the money from the benefactor directly but to let them apply the money to organization making the upgrade. This way they can be assured that they get what they are paying for which is only fair.

I often wonder exactly what my contributions are going to in an organization or individual and just saying to an individual, “Please use the money for food and not alcohol or drugs.” Means nothing and there are no assurances.

This way I can offer you an assurance. Since I am not a non-profit; however, I have not made any money off of this website at all, sum total is zero.

That does not matter to me, it is not the making of money, it is the help I am giving that counts and helping drives up my readership and we all know it is about the numbers.

Good news my previous readership was at 70 and yesterday it was up to 95 which is utterly fantastic and I am excited about that and want you to be excited as well since it was you that were able to help me to achieve that high goal, Dear Writers and Dear Readers.

Thanks so much to you and yours this season, I am truly thankful for each and every one of you.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

And as always, Dear Writers keep writing and I am here to help you to be sure it is finished and ready for publishing.

I would love to help you, Dear Writers; at the same time you will be helping me be a better coach and editor.
