An 8 year old author

I had previously written in my blog that my 8 year old daughter had written a book (quite a while ago) and posted it here:

Now in the news there is 8 year old Sienna Miller who also has written and illustrated a book called “The

Adventure in Space”. After reading the article I found out that it was self published by her parents so that

makes it more palatable seeing that a lot of people are self publishing books and can say they’ve been

published. Hard to say if a real publishing company would have taken the project on and on what terms. Be

careful Dear Writers about the deals to be made on the internet.

Self publishing is not the same as publishing so please don’t be envious, but do work hard and ensure your

product (book, novel, or story) is the best it can be. Make sure your army of support has thoroughly helped

you and made sure you are prepared before going to publishers.

And as always, Dear Writers keep writing and I am here to help you to be sure it is finished and ready for

publishing.
