The following post is based upon facts only; for if it were based upon opinion it would be severely inflammatory.

So as the post asks, "What's your sign, baby?"

Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine. While you are pondering that over let's review the facts.

Of the billions of homo sapiens on the planet most associate with one sign or another.

Here are common signs that one may associate with and any particular person can be associated with a multiplicity of signs.

1. It could be a birth sign.

2. Logo either commercial or school

3. As simple as a can or bottle with some writing on it or just a mug with foam.

4. Gang signs abound on the planet, even religions have them. Take a look at any church and usually there is some kind of symbol that identifies which religion or on what it bases its philosophy.

5. People use these signs to signal to others; such as upon the seeing of a dead person in a casket, I've seen people make a sign.

So now that we have established that people make, display and use signs to show what appeals to them, or upon what they base some belief. Some signs are more prevalent during holidays. Think of the holidays you are familiar with and you will remember signs that go with those holidays.

If someone you don't know says certain things to you then you can tell if they are associated with the same

"gang" as you. Merriam Webster defines gang as: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gang

gang

noun

: a group of criminals

: a group of young people who do illegal things together and who often fight against other gangs

: a group of people who are friends and who do things together

So you can be identified as a gang if you are a group of people, who are friends and who do things together. Golfers, archers, theme parkers, etc.

Really, churches or religions are gangs, you say? Definitely, it is a fact that humans like to run in groups or "herds" as I would call it and they love to be identified with such groups. There are mild groups, extreme groups, in between groups, all types of groups. It can be a favorite team, faction (type of ball or club that one favors), even countries have signs and groups associate and identify with and are stirred to patriotism because of it. Show me a planet Martian sign and I don't raise an eyebrow, but show me that flag of a country I love and it evokes patriotism or some memories. Likewise with most people. Some signs are sinister and are becoming banned even though at one time they were favored and revered, but no longer.

Signs from history seem to have no place any more within our society, but they are historic in a good or bad sense and thus; a part of us in one way or another.

So now, tell me, what is your sign, baby?
