The one thing worth more than anything.

If you were to guess, what one thing is worth more than anything that you can share with someone else?

Love?                  Friendship?        Something else?

Love is nice and a measure of love can be shared.  It may not be readily apparent or able to transcend in the first moments or days of a relationship and can take time.  Sometimes a lot of time.

Friendship is nice, too.  It also takes time in order for a friendship to develop.  It does not happen right away.  It is established by common interests and bonds that take days and months to build upon.

How about trust?  Trust can be given instantly and one will potentially know that you are sharing it but it also takes a measure of time to be built upon layer by later.

Seth Godin believes that Kindness can be shown and shared instantly and the one whom you are kind with will be able to understand it and see it (usually).

Seth also believes that kindness scales.  That it builds better than any other attribute possibly.  Others have the opportunity to reciprocate when shown kindness.  It can then lead to trust, friendship, even love.

Also, kindness can work with all that you meet.  Kindness is attractive, kindness is wonderful, a bit of human kindness goes a long way in any interaction.

Try it, Dear Writers and Dear Readers.  Let me know how it works for you.
