Torn Realities

Are your realities torn?

Listen to this song:

Rotersand is the band, Torn Realities is the song

Here are the lyrics:

What the heck, are we doing with our lives?

Keeping ourselves in dungeons until we’re barely alive.

I wish we could find the courage and turn on the light.

Why don’t we finally wake up and simply open our eyes?

What we think is what we get.

What we think is what we get.

What we think is what we get.

What we think is what we get.

And suddenly we see, the things that really matter.

Our greatest enemies are shadows on the wall.

And suddenly we see, the worlds and all that matter.

Our torn realities, illusions off the wall.

You and me can believe in, only one truth

So we are throw in the aces and we caught on the deuce

I wish we could only ready to open our minds

Why don’t we finally take it; we don’t have to be blind.

What we think is what we get.

What we think is what we get.

And suddenly we see, the things that really matter.

Our greatest enemies are shadows on the wall.

And suddenly we see, the worlds and all that matter.

Our torn realities, illusions off the wall.

I love this song and exercise to it.  It expands my mind somehow and makes me see how we construct an inconsistent reality from what is real.  We have to tear down that constructed reality.  Then we can build it into a real reality that we all can share.

What do you think, Dear Readers and Dear Writers?
