I wanna

Sometimes my mind is like a 4 year old kid screaming in my head, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna.  When I ask the child, "First stop screaming." (I like peace and quiet) then "What do you want?"  So the child in me always wants something like peace and love and understanding.  Nebulous things that one can not give at least not easily in one nice package.

Ask for that at the store and boy the looks you'd get on that one.  And yes like every beauty contestant we all want world peace but what is our individual contribution to it?

Peace, love and understanding come from within, for if you do not have it you can not give it.  Let me say that again. Peace, love and understanding start inside of us and it works its way out into the person standing next to us and on to the next person.  Radiate it if you can find it.

What gives you inner peace?  That serenity from knowing you have done something that goes beyond you.  I do not have all the answers but I am trying to get you to think in new directions and where else will that new understanding and directions take you?  That, my friend, is up to you.

I was trying to sleep last night and not very successfully.  I woke up really early and was terribly unsettled about things that were happening that were out of my control.

So what is in my control?  What do I have dominion over?  That is the only thing I can control.  I can not control my thoughts but I can control the direction of them.

We love llamas.  For us, they are the epitome of a really fun looking, cute, adorable (watch out they spit) animal.

We can not control llamas.  They simply exist and they are so great with their huge eyes and long eye lashes and funny long necks and well, you get the picture.

Now that I am thinking about cute lovable things that unsettled-ness feeling I had extremely early this morning is gone.

That is what I can control.  Thinking in a direction that is productive and beneficial.

Think positive and keep on trucking as they used to say.  Write in a direction that makes sense to you and it all will come together and give you peace, love and understanding.  A small start on a long journey.
