Greetings! I know this update is coming on a weird day and at a weird time, but I didn't want to send anything concrete until we had a better picture of what our school days were going to look like. As it currently stands, we'll be taking the topic's formative assessment this Friday, though because of the snow days and huge gaps between instructional time due to fall break and winter MAP testing (which took place Monday and Tuesday of last week), I'll do parts of this assessment with the kids on the board. This is both to allow for extra instructional time as well as to take the opportunity to reinforce some test taking strategies. Right now I'm currently planning for the kids to independently take the unit summative next Monday, though I've heard talk that there might be another winter storm on the horizon (personally I've had my fill of snow days and I'm hoping the rest of winter will be on the milder side).
