Howdy! A super short week will result in a super short update... for real this time! As previously mentioned, Monday was devoted for reviewing for the quiz and today was just for the quiz only. I know some kids have already taken off with their families for the upcoming holiday, so if they haven't completed the quiz, please have them catch up as soon as possible. Once the quiz is completed, please take advantage of the chance to earn back some credit by completing quiz corrections using the form included in the quiz module. I also ask that students who are behind on work try to catch up over the break as well so they can start back on November 30th in good standing. There are quiet a few students across 7th grade who are failing or at risk of failing simply because they aren't completing their work and there's not much we can do if they don't turn anything in for us to give even partial credit for at this point. I'm obviously still accepting late work, so please check the MP2 grades on StudentVUE/ParentVUE and do what you can to catch up as quickly as possible.
On a more personal note and in the spirit of the upcoming holiday, I wanted to thank everyone for working with me through this crazy, crazy school year! Thank you to everyone as you have been very understanding with all the tech issues since day one. Parents and guardians, thank you for all the support and efforts from home (we couldn't do this without you!). Thank you to the kids who have put up with my cranky moments (my complaints/rants about tech not cooperating and all my fussing for missing work). Many, many thanks (SO MUCH THANKS!!!) to those kids who have stayed on top of their work (and my apologies that you've been stuck listening to my begging for work throughout the year thus far!). And lastly but most importantly, thank you to all of my kids for all the lighthearted moments that have turned what could have been trying/difficult days into some of the best days! I love you all dearly and hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving and break!
