"Teddy" (girl kitty, short for Teddy Bear) was minding her own business in her backyard when two dogs from newly-moved in neighbors rudely chased her up a tree. She settled on a limb at 30 feet, and her people, Megan and Ken gave her some time to figure out how to get down. However, late on the second day they decided they had waited long enough and after some searching, contacted me. I came out mid-morning the next day, set a rope in the tree above Teddy, and started up. She was rubbing her head on the limb and kneading her paws and I figured she would just jump in my lap. However, once I reached her, Teddy began showing some nervousness and started looking up the limb for an escape route. I nabbed her before she could go higher, and then managed to get her into the Kat bag. Back on the ground, Megan brought Teddy inside for food, water and loving. Ken and Megan, many thanks for your extremely generous donation that will go to Lovable Feline Rescue of North Alabama! Ken, also thanks for your donation of climbing gear that you no longer used - it is some awesome gear!
