Executive Summary

The Oxford Fire Department contacted me about an unknown kitty that was stuck about 25 ft up a tree. They put me in contact with the homeowner, and I went out the next day. The kitty was about 25 ft up, but went up to 35 feet after I set a rope and climbed. The kitty was clearly feral as it was silent the entire time. I made rescue pole attempt, but it dodged my grab, jumped, landed softly in some leaves, and took off. This is about all you can hope for when doing a feral rescue.
