"Nina" had been stuck 48 hours in a tree when Sabrin contacted me. Nina is a 1-year old, mostly indoor kitty who is allowed outside for short periods of time, and it is unknown as to what caused her to climb the tree. Nina had initially been near the top of a hardwood tree, but had been coaxed down to the lowest limb at about 20 feet. However, she was unwilling to climb down any further, and the rocky ground made a jump dangerous. Nina was only about 15 minutes from my new Huntsville Hacienda, so it was quick drive over. Sabrin led me to the tree behind her house where Nina was hanging out. Nina watched carefully as I set a rope above her, and she clearly wanted to be rescued. I was soon at height with her, and Nina allowed me to bag her with only a few complaints. Back on the ground , Sabrin took her inside to safety. Please stay out trees, sweet kitty Nina!
