Callie the Climber

Once again, my good friend and fellow cat rescuer, MeowMax, forwarded me some info on a stuck kitty that he would not be able to get to until the following day. This kitty was stuck in Trinity AL, and Natalie was very concerned about her "Callie" as she had been stuck for three nights and all local rescue attempts had failed.   When I arrived, Natalie and children led me to a large tree in a neighbor's yard, where Callie was jumping around between branches at about 30 ft.  Callie had ignored the  20 ft ladder and the long wooden ramp, stubbornly refusing to come down even though she clearly wanted a rescue by her frantic meowing.  I set a rope and was soon at height with Callie, who came right to me and practically jumped in my lap.  After an easy  Nab-N-Bag, it was back to the ground where Natalie took Callie inside for food, water, and loving.  Natalie, many thanks for your generous donation to Lovable Feline Rescue of North Alabama!  MeowMax, keep those easy rescues coming!  You can reserve the tough rescues for yourself!
